Construction, certification and testing requirements
The Euro Grade 4 Safe CF1900-4 has been designed for professional applications requiring a very high level of certified protection against physical attacks. Its construction complies with the testing criteria defined in the UNE EN 1143-1:2019 standard, ensuring resistance to mechanical and thermal attacks under controlled conditions.
Dimensions, volume and weight
- External dimensions: 1900 × 1400 × 680 mm (height × width × depth)
- Internal dimensions: 1800 × 1300 × 500 mm
- Approximate usable volume: 1170 litres
- Approximate weight: 1565 kg
Structure, materials and thickness
- Structure: structural steel body with high-strength concrete filling
- Filling material: technical concrete with composite aggregates and metallic fibres
- Total wall thickness: 50 mm
- Total door thickness: 130 mm
The combination of materials and thicknesses is designed to increase resistance against drilling, cutting and thermal attacks, dissipating the energy generated during intrusion attempts in accordance with Grade 4 testing procedures.
Locking system, relockers and perimeter protection
- Standard locks: 2 double-bitted key locks, VdS Class 2 certified
- Relocking devices: 2 internal relockers integrated in the door
- Locking mechanism: 6 front locking bolts combined with 4 vertical locking bars
This configuration ensures homogeneous security distribution in the event of an attack and prevents critical deformations of the frame and the door.
Available lock configurations
In addition to the standard configuration with two key locks, the CF1900-4 model allows, upon request, different locking configurations adapted to operational requirements:
- 1 key lock + 1 mechanical combination lock
- 1 key lock + 1 electronic lock
- 1 key lock + 1 electronic lock with time delay and time scheduling
- 1 key lock + 1 biometric lock
Anchoring and installation
- Anchoring: prepared for base anchoring in accordance with UNE 108136 requirements
- Installation: designed for fixed locations in professional environments
Base anchoring is recommended to maximise resistance against extraction or displacement attempts.
Certification and professional use
The CF1900-4 safe is certified as Euro Grade 4 according to the UNE EN 1143-1:2019 standard, making it suitable for professional applications where tested and verifiable security levels are required. This model belongs to the range of
Euro Grade 4 Safes
manufactured by Arcas Gruber.
